A 19th century cased model of a two-masted fore-and-aft schooner. Hand-built and probably sailor made model surviving in good condition including original paint and crackled varnish finish. The cotton fabric sails on this model and some of the rigging appears to be an old replacement. Displayed in the original glass case with wood base that measures 44 inches wide X 13 1/2 inches deep X 37 inches tall. The glass case is open on one of the long sides where it was displayed with the open side against a back wall.
