Product Description

Early 20th century galvanized metal port/ starboard combination bow light that we have re-purposed nautical table lamp. The lantern light was produced using both blue-green and ruby red Fresnel lens. Wonderful silver-grey surface, this maritime lamp will certainly add a lot of character to your coastal home. The lamp is open at the bottom to access the interior light and the lamp lighting choices are selected by the upper light switch. You can use either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both as desired. A dimmer can also be added to adjust the light intensity for great ambient light. The brass label attached to the lantern back states "PATENTED APRIL 1st, 1913", but we are not sure of the manufacturer of this light. The lantern survives in good condition, but does have a fes body dents and such, as one would expect for a seafaring lantern over 100 years old! The table lamp measures 17 1/2 inches to the top of the lamp shade.(as shown)

Lamp shades are sold separately. Shown here with our 12 inch burlap covered lamp shade (see lamp shade selections below)
