Old ship-salvaged helmet-style brass lifeboat or yacht binnacle with liquid-filled gimbaled compass made by Sestral. Side light with hinged door and oil burner, but the burner is currently not functional. The 4 inch compass is in working order but the original alcohol fill is discolored. The brass surface retains an old weathered patina! Bottom ring measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter. Weighs 7 pounds. Guaranteed to be authentic and not a replica!
