Boxed small boat gimbal drycard compass manufactured for T.S. & J.D. Negus, New York and marketed by E.S. Ritchie & Sons, Boston. SN 67568. Housed in a stained machine-dovetailed mahogany box that measures 6 X 6 X 4 1/4 inches with lid. Replaced brass screws that hold the gimbal ring. Missing one latch. Good working order.
