Product Description

A WWII British sheet iron, brass and copper anchor marine lantern that was converted long ago into a nautical table lamp. The lantern brass maker's plate is embossed "J.C. NEWEY BIRMINGHAM" in oval and a second plate stating "ANCHOR PATT5902". The 360 degree cased clear glass fresnal lens is marked A.P.1990 and C.B. 1944 (the date of manufacture). Three square copper diagonal guards protect the glass lens.

We have removed all of the lamp wires and socket and replaced them with all new lamp hardware. Wiried with a three-way switch that toggles between the upper table lamp light and the lower interior lantern light. You can select either or both lights together depending on your lighting needs and desirability. Open at bottom for access to the interior light. Measures 27 1/2 inches tall to the top of the shade (as shown) 8 inches in diameter.

The price for the lamps does not include the lamp shade. Choose from our selection or fit-it with one of your own taste. Shown here with our 16 inch black parchment with gold foil interior shade. See our related items below for lamp shade selection.
