A late 19th port running light that we have re-purposed into a nautical table lamp. This authentic ship light features a brass housing retaining a deep bronze patina. The red glass is convexed with two vertical glass protection bars in front. The ruby red glass is free of chips or cracks. The interior is reached by the hinged bottom plate with slide catch and keep. This lamp features The lamp lighting choices toggle between the interior light and the lamp light via the upper light switch. You can use either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both as desired.
The lantern survives in good condition but does have a few dents on the lantern shoulder. Measures 22 1/2 inches tall to the top of the shade (as shown). A great old nautical fixture with lot’s of maritime charm, re-purposed for today’s nautical home.
