A fine American Sheraton mahogany Pembroke table, New York, circa 1810, possibly from the workshop of Duncan Phyfe. Composed of highly figured solid mahogany top with clove leaves and reeded ring-turned legs terminating in ball feet. Single fitted drawer on one side retaining the original oval floral stamped brass hardware with makers mark on handle. White pine secondary. Measures 32 inches deep X 22 inches closed X 41 inches open and 29 inches tall.
CONDITION: Excellent without repairs and original throughout. Some minor surface scratches and a few water and candle drip marks as expected from 200 plus years of existence. We chose to leave the surface undisturbed since it is original and part of it’s authenticity!
