An early 20th century starboard lantern manufactured by the Kilborn-Sauer Co. as engraved on the brass chimney cap. Composed of galvanized steel, this authentic small boat light still retains it's original green painted surface on lantern front and chimney. Hinged back door with slide latch on one side and mounting bracket on the other. The thick blue-green Fresnel lens survive free of chip or cracks. Brass top chimney and ring-top swing handle. Missing original burner, but a burner could easily be replaced, or could be electrified for today's home use. Stands 11 1/2 inches tall exclusive of the bail handle. A wonderful old nautical lantern that can be used indoors or out.
