Large, early to mid 20th century Perko stern light retired from an oceangoing ship.Features a black-painted galvanized body with brass chimney caps, Christmas tree vents, back mounting plate with double screw holes for easy bulkhead or wall mounting. The thick, clear glass (white light) Fresnel lens survives free of chips or cracks. Also retains the original twist-type removable burner. The Perko label is located on the back of the lantern. Measures 21 inches tall including the ring handle, 10 inches wide and 9 1/2 inches deep.
This lantern can easily be electrified for interior use and the fuel burning lamp is still operational. Could also be converted to a beautiful nautical table lamp!
