Large, early 20th century PERKO anchor lantern made by the Perkins Marine Lamp & Hardware, Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A.
as embossed on the brass manufacturers label. Features a brass chimney top and galvanized steel body retaining a great old pewter grey patina.
Stands 21 1/2 inches tall including the ring handle, and 9 inches in diameter at base. Original clear glass Fresnel lens that remarkably
survives without chips or cracks and is protected by the metal cross guard. The lantern is open at the bottom and without a burner.
Perfect light to be electrified with multiple uses in todays coastal home. A great old lantern with lot's of seafaring character.
