Mixed media marine art sculpture by American artist William Barth Osmundsen depicting a fisherman reeling in a marlin and sitting in a fighting chair. The sculpture is a composition using epoxy, teak (as deck), black marble (as base) and heavy wire as fishing line. Acrylic painted surface. The sculpture measures 48 inches tall (overall) 28 inches deep and 15 inches wide. The sculpture measures 36 1/2 inches tall from the bottom of the base to the tip of the marlin bill. Signed by the artist on the back of the fighting chair W. Barth Osmundsen and dated 1995.
