This is a one of a kind Tugboat weathervane made in the 1940's by Major Payne of Stumpy Point, N.C.. This hand crafted weathervane survives with expected wear from harsh weather conditions including loss of metal arrow and losses to the directionals. The metal vane has been repainted and was recently mounted onto a vintage oak block for weighted base. A great authentic marine themed weathervane- perfect for the nautical home! The tugboat measures 21 inches long X 5 1/4 inches wide and 33 inches tall including block base.
