Pair of late 19th century port & starboard galvanized metal running lights produced by an unknown maker. Features brass chimney caps and bail handles on top, with flat glass ruby red and emerald green lens. Each lantern retains one wire guard and missing the second. Curiously, one of the two lanterns was made with fewer smoke vents than the other, but there is no question that they are a matching pair. Great old dry pewter patina. Stands 9 inches tall excluding the bail bail handles. These lanterns are missing their burners.
Individual lantern images are shown over a light, but these lanterns have not been electrified and are lighted to show the color of the glass lens.
