U.S. Coast Guard bronze buoy bell. Embossed three times on shoulder of bell "USCG 1941". The USCG markings are worn as are some of the dating, but there is enough of the embossed name still remaining to recognize the bell name. Bell mounts from the top, without clapper. Definite wear around the outer edge of the bell where the two strikers struck her with each motion of the waves. Measures 19” diameter by 19" high. A rare USCG WWII era bell now available for the Coast Guard enthusiast.
