Vintage sailor-made ship in a quart, square-sided bottle depicting a fully rigged, four masted bark heading out of a harbor into white-capped seas. This wonderful diorama features a working tugboat on it's starboard side and passing by a channel buoy and lightouse with light keepers house on the port side. The ship's rigging is tight and the whole model is intact. Glass and cork stopper with fine macrame cap cover. The blue-green bottle survives clean and very clear. From the United Kingdom, Circa 1940.
The bottle is marked "B & Co Ld. 10" on the bottom which stands for Robson, Wm Middle Street, Sunderland, United Kingdom, early 1940's. Bottle length overall measures 10 1/2 inches.
