Early 20th century small craft port and starboard marine running light re-purposed and made into a table lamp. This wonderful old brass lantern still retains a soft, aged patina and the removable divider plate. Ruby red and blue green glass Fresnel lens survive clean and without chips or cracks. Hinged bottom plate opens to allow access to the lamp interior. The lamp lighting choices toggles between the interior light and the lamp light via the lamp light switch. You can use either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both when desired. The lantern maker is unidentified, but was probably made by the National Marine Lamp Company of New York. Measures 18 ½ inches tall (as shown) to the top of the shade.
