An early 20th century galvanized metal starboard ship's light that we have re-purposed into a nautical table lamp. This unique lantern is by an unknown maker and features an aqua blue glass Fresnel lens with double wire guards in front. The lamp interior can be reached through the hinged bottom that locks down with a slide latch located in the front. Wonderful old aged patina metal surface created by decades of seafaring use. The lantern itself survives intact with a few minor chips on the Fresnel glass lens. The lamp lighting choices toggles between the interior light and the lamp light via the upper light switch. You can use either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both as desired. A dimmer can also be added to adjust the light intensity for great ambient light. Stands 22 inches tall to the top of the shade (as shown) 9 inches across the front and 6 1/2 inch corner sides. A great choice for anyone wanting a real salty lamp with a lot of character for their nautical room and coastal home. Can't reproduce this!
