Love this one! We've repurposed this WWII era ship's navigational light into a handsome nautical table lamp. This one's special: the old light features removable red and blue color panels so the lamp can also be a clear white light! Made of galvanized metal, the surface retains an old red painted surface with brass swing handel and fittings. You gain access to the lamp interio through the slide out back plate. The double glass Fresnel lens survive in good order, free of cracks and only minor rim chips. The inspection date of 1943 is etched on to one of the two lens.
We've added all new lamp wires and fixtures and the new lamp lighting choices toggle between the interior light and the lamp light via the upper light switch. You can use either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both as desired. The interior bulb is reached through the hinged lid of the fixture.
The table lamp measures 8" wide X 8" deep and 22 1/2 inches tall to the top of the shade (as shown). This wonderful old marine navigational light makes a perfect lamp to adorn your home furnishings and light up your coastal home!
