Featured here is a highly desirable all brass WWII era US Navy Bureau of Ships telescope mounted on a custom made walnut tripod stand. The manufacturers label is missing, but this scope matches other WWII era US Navy scopes that we have found available by other dealers and was originally mounted on the rail of the ship for viewing. The scope was polished and lacquered by the previous owner but imperfections and surface scratches are evident as one would expect from an actual WWII naval scope.

Features:

A 13 power eyepiece (marked 13X on the outer viewing ring) which provides a clear, highly magnified image with a wide field of view.

Fully functional internal 3-way filters system used for viewing in bright and hazy conditions.

Telescope measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and measures 26 1/2 inches long overall, inclusive of its built-in sun shade. The telescope barrel itself is 22 inches long. The stand with telescope measures 63 inches tall as shown and 55 inches to the top of the tripod.

Black powder-coated handle for easy movement of the scope.

The custom-made tripod features tapered walnut legs and tri-chain to keep the legs from collapsing.

The solid black powder-coated yolk allows the telescope to pivot from side to side and up and down with gliding action.

We professionally package and ship worldwide. Give us a call during showroom hours or email us at skipjacknauticalwares@gmail.com to discuss shipping options and costs.
