Nautical coffee table custom made in the 1970's using an authentic WWII era Liberty ship hatch cover and again as the base legs. The top is fitted on to the base using four large wood dowels that holds it in place, but is removable for moving or storage. Two lines of rope are inlaid in between the hatch cover boards. Thick yellow pine top and legs with wide metal banned ends. Wonderful old amber patina. Table measures 29 1/2" X 59 1/2" X 16 1/2" tall. A wonderful, highly sought after nautical table at a very competitive price!
