Product Description

•••••

Yellow brass hinged bezel case, 6" silver engraved Arabic dial, signed "GLENDOVEER", "E. A. Park". Steel blue moon hands. GLENDOVEER, built for Otis K. Dimock, 1894. Owned by William H. Park, 1924, E. A. Park, 1925. GLENDOVEER, schooner, length overall 70', 53' on the waterline, 17' on the beam, draught 7'.

Chelsea Clock Company offered to engrave the dial of any new clock for free with a purchase, however, less than 1% of all clocks sold had such an engraving. Clocks with yacht names engraved on the dial are rare and sought after by collectors. Most orders for engraved clocks were for one clock only making nearly all such clocks unique. Clock fully restored and mounted on a mahogany wooden ring.

This exceptional all brass deck clock has just been professionally serviced and it is an excellent time keeper. Like all of our Chelsea clocks, comes with a one year guarantee! Complete with Chelsea winding key.
