Each 4 X 4 tile coaster is hand-painted signal code flag in enamel paint, so no two are alike. Air dried for several days and then baked in oven. Easy care- just wipe clean with water using a non-abrasive cloth. These decorative tiles are perfect for hot and cold beverages, for display and as wall hangings. Comes with felt backing.
*For tile work attach with appropriate adhesive; grout carefully and not over tile.
We try to keep an ample selection of these in stock, but due to the demand you should expect up to a week for production time upon placement of order.
About the artist: Portsmouth, Virginia artist Karen Goins retired after 20 years as a Special Education teacher. Her MS (Multiple Sclerosis) doctor insisted that she find something to keep her busy, so she created a small studio in her home she shares with her husband with an "inspirational view" Karen enjoys of the Elizabeth River. "If only my hands could keep up with my imagination!"
