Walker's "CHERUB" III ship-log (patented) including a pair of brass rotators (spinners) and register, all in it's original wood box . Made by Thomas Walker & Son, Ltd., 58 Oxford Street, Birmingham, England. The machine dovetailed wood storage box retains the original lid with working instructions. One of the rotators we believe was a replacement to the ship-log and is engraved with the manufacturers logo "GEHNA", a company that originally manufacturered nautical instruments for more than 125 years. The rotator line on this one is heavily frayed. Also retains two of the original manufacturers tags from Walker. A great maritime instrument for the nautical collector.
