WWII era brass Pelorus manufactured by the Sperry Gyroscope Company Div., Sperry Corporation as described on the manufacturers plate located on the instrument pedestal base. 8 inch gimbaled electronic gyro compass engraved "Mark 15 Mod 0" in the center and 23460 on the brass bowl housing. Light adjustment switch is located on the side of the brass pedestal above the manufacturers plate. Their is minor stain on the compass face, but is still easily legable. Retains the original brass compass cover engraved "TURN LIGHT OFF AT DAYLIGHT". The brass base pedestal measures 13 inches in diameter at the top opening and 53 inches tall. Retains a soft, darkened brass patina or can be polished to a bright finish!
