The bell was cast in iron and retains its original bronzed finish. the bell was made by the “Harvard Lock Company NY” as embossed on the top of the bell and U.S.N embossed on the bells lower rim. The bell measures a base diameter of 9 1/2 inches and a height of 9 inches including mounting stem. Retains its original bell clapper. Bell is made of iron and weighs approximately 17 pounds. Comes with a new bell lanyard (as shown). This impressive Navy bell is well preserved and would make a nice addition to a military maritime collection.
