Product Description


A late 19th century small inlaid wood tray, probably British India. The wood is likely rosewood with attractive grains and the trays are inlaid with a star in the center consisting of bone contrasting a lighter wood, bands with bones with various width along the edges, as well as bones handles. The oxbone and wood surface has a nice patina from age with patterns. Measures 14.5 inches long (including handles and 9 inches wide with 7/8 inch tall sides. Survives in good condition but with a few shrinkage cracks.
