Large, first quarter of the 20th century, American made all brass anchor light that we have re-purposed in to a nautical table lamp. All brass lantern body that retains a wonderful old brown-bronze patina. Thick, clear glass Fresnel lens embossed "CORNING" the lens maker, is in good condition, with the exception of a few rim chips. Constructed using heavy brass hardware and lens guards. Missing top swing handle. Hinged above glass lens that opens and allows access the interior light. This handsome old marine light survives in good condition with expected dents from years of seafaring use.
Dimensions: Diameter 8 inches at bottom, stands 30 inches to the top of the lamp shade (as shown).
The lamp lighting choices toggle between the interior light and the lamp light via the upper light switch. You can use either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both as desired. A great old nautical fixture with lot’s of maritime charm, re-purposed for today’s nautical home.
