Authentic nautical furniture is rare, both in scope and availability. The next best choice is furniture that is created using authentic maritime items like ships grates, hatch covers, ships windows and portholes. Here we have re-purposed an authentic WWII era bronze porthole removed years ago from a retired ocean tug. This large porthole was redesigned using a vintage metal stand that now makes a perfect nautical occasional or lamp table. Use it indoors or out, just about anywhere you need a small table in your home, office or yacht. The porthole features four lock-down dogs, hinged, will open if desired. Survives with a wonderful old verdigris patina and the thick glass top is in remarkabley good shape, free of surface scratches and other blemishes. The table stand can also hold a lower 15 inch glass top for additional storage or display. The glass measures 18 inches in diameter and the porthole measures 22 1/2 inch in diameter. Stands 28 1/2 inches tall to the top of the porthole and exclusive of the dogs. Weighs approx.75 pounds. Like all of our custom nautical furniture, this is a "one of" and once gone that's it!
