An authentic nautical copper and brass navigation light features a clear 360 degree Fresnel Plexiglas lens that survives in good order. We have installed a new bulb socket that takes a normal screw-in house bulb of 100 watts or less. The fixture currently comes with a six foot lamp cord with finger switch for interior use, or can be rewired for use as an exterior post or dock light. The wire now passes through the base side conduit, but also has a second conduit available in the center bottom. This 1970's vintage seafaring light survives with a few minor body dents and retains a wonderful weathered antique patina.
This copper navigation light stands 10 inches tall and the base is 8 1/4 inches in diameter exclusive of the three mounting feet. To access the bulb area, you remove the bezel cast-brass lid located in the top housing cover.
