•••••
Exceptional, probably sailor-made early 20th century ship-in-a-bottle diorama of a four-masted ship on choppy, white-capped seas, flying an American flag, with a tugboat on the starboard side and passing by a lighthouse with lightkeepers house on a sandy island. Palm trees on both sides of the lighthouse. Displayed in a square Booth's High & Dry Gin bottle with cork stopper. Measurs 10 inches in length. Beautiful original condition!

Bottle makers mark for “Bagley & Co., Ltd.,” an English glass house, that was in business from 1898 to 1962. The company manufactured bottles from 1898 to the late 1920’s or early 1930’s after which they ceased bottle production and focused on tableware.
