Large, early 20th century starboard lantern that was converted years ago into a nautical table lamp. We've replaced the old lamp fixture and wiring with a new three-way switch that toggles between the upper table lamp light and the lower interior lantern light. You can select either or both lights together depending on your lighting needs and desirability. The lantern features a dark green glass Fresnel lens that survives in good condition with only a few minor chips and a wonderful old painted metal surface surface. The lamp is open at the bottom to access the interior light. This lamps stands 30 1/2 inches tall to the top of the shade (as shown) 15 inches across the front and 10 inch back sides.
