Large, 1970's Vintage Copper and Brass Anchor Lantern Light

Large 1970's copper and brass anchor lantern with thick, clear glass Fresnel lens. The brass banner on the front states "ANCHOR" for the anchor light. Brass lens guards, hoist and bale handles, and hinges. The ship's light was electrified within the last 30 years with an interior light. Lamp cord with ON/OFF switch for easy operation. The interior of the lantern is reached through the hinged top lid. The chimney has a hinged lid as well. The marine light survives in good order, with only a few small surface dents and tarnish from use and age. The Fresnel lens is free of chips or cracks!

DIMENSIONS: 21 inches tall (EXCLUSIVE OF LOWER AND TOP SWING HANDLE); 11-inch diameter (AT BASE).  Weighs 19 pounds.
