A 19th century leather covered pine officer's chest, probably British. Rectangular chest with hinged top decorated in center with brass tacks framing the initials "D.Z." Chest interior is lined with old wallpaper and newspaper. Heavy wrought iron bail handles on each end. Some leather loss in spots but overall in good condition. Measures 17 1/2 inches deep X 33 inches wide and 13 inches tall.
