Exceptional quality early 20th century brass marine anchor lantern that we have re-purposed into a nautical table lamp. Previously used as a hanging lantern, we've removed the old wiring and lamp fixture and re-purposed this fine marine light into an exceptional table lamp. The manufacturers tag applied to the bottom of the lantern states: "MFRD BY THE NATIONAL MARINE LAMP COMPANY, NEW YORK". The lantern features a thick, clear glass 360 degree Triplex style Fresnel lens that survives without chips or cracks and brass wire guards to protect it.
The lamp lighting selection toggles between the interior light and the outer light by the upper light switch. You can choose either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both on and off as desired. Measures 20 inches tall (as shown) to the top of the shade. Great old brass patina- a beautiful light fixture for your nautical interior and for the beach and coastal home!
