A beautiful vintage, never-used cast brass door knocker of the Nubble Lighthouse. Sand casted knocker titled "NUBBLE LIGHT, ME." The backside of the knocker is engraved "Mekkelsen's Sand Castings of Maine," and with the artist's signature "Virginia  E.Souza." Measures 4 inches wide (at base), 6 1/2 inches tall, and with a 1 1/4 inch projection. The hinged bracket on the back for easy door front mounting! Appears to be a fairly rare door knocker. No reference to the casting or the caster. In good, new condition!
