A circa 1920 hand painted cast iron door stop figural depicting an old salt fisherman wearing a yellow slicker raincoat and grasping a fishing net.  Wonderful old original painted surface. These doorstops were cast in two parts and held together via a screw through the back. They are considerably rare compared to their bookend mates. Measures approx 11 1/4 inches tall!  (One photo image showing the doorstop next to a pair of bookends).
