American cast-iron schooner wheel, typically found on working sailing boats like skipjacks, pungies, and bugeyes of the 19th and 20th centuries. Features six cylindrical iron spokes, fitted with turned wooden handles and metal end caps. Wheel hub with double square-head fastening bolts on backside. Old black-painted metal surfaces. Measures 31 inches from tip to tip. Comes with a Skipjack ship's wheel hub wall mounting bracket! (as shown)
