Schooners at Harbor Cove,  Gloucester, Mass.

Unsigned oil on canvasboard, circa 1945, probably Gloucester School of Painting (1940-1970, taught by John Fabian Carlson and Emile Gruppe. Fishing schooners along the docks of Gloucester Harbor cove, Gloucester, Mass..In good condition with minor wear around the edges. Painted Ogee wood frame with inner gilt edge. Canvas measures 11 1/2 inches by 15 inches. A label on the back of the outer cardboard backing states: "PERCY JOHNSON, PICTURE FRAMING, 18 FALL BROOK AVENUE, LEOMINSTER, MASS."
