*Many years ago, we acquired a large collection of authentic ship light fixtures. We recently rediscovered the remaining inventory of these lights, which were boxed and kept in storage. They are the last of the old brass lights that we will have in stock.
1970's vintage passageway, ceiling light, removed years ago from a retired cargo ship. Cast with solid brass, this light features a brass housing, with two mounting holes in corners. Comes with their original clearglass dome cover and brass protection cage. Retains a hand-polished, mellow brass patina. We've removed all of the old wiring and interior UL-listed socket, added an interior bottom plate, and a new porcelain socket- now ready to be wired and installed. The socket is rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base, long-lasting LED bulb. (LED bulbs do not create any significant heat.
IMPORTANT: These old ship lights are of the best quality that you can buy on the market today, but they are used fixtures, and each light will have a different history. Expect age flaws and maritime wear.
