Vintage CNR Railroad Lantern, an Adlake 1-59 model (Jan. 1959 production date) crafted by HIRAM PIPER. The top lid is embossed "C N R, HIRAM L. PIPER CO., LTD." The bottom of the oil reserve is embossed ADLAKE KERO 1-59, USA/CANADA PATENTED." The removable oil burner is embossed "NO. 400, USE LONG TIME BURNING OIL ONLY." Retains the original red glass globe. Large swing handle. Wonderful old pewter grey patina.
