A vintage teak sailboat wheel on a steering pedestal, manufactured by Edson Marine of Massachusetts. This salvaged sailboat helm has been restored and now makes an exceptional nautical display for your coastal home and office. All original Edson parts with the addition of a painted wood pedestal cap and a solid mahogany octagonal wood base. The 34-inch yacht wheel retains a pleasing old teak varnished finish.

In production for over 125 years, this is a wheel that belongs on any classic yacht or stately passage-maker. Handcrafted to the highest offshore-quality standards, and will provide years of service for the classic yacht. They feature solid teak spokes and felloes rigidly secured with stainless fasteners and holly bungs. The laminated 1” diameter destroyer-type rim is installed with stainless fasteners and teak bungs to the solid teak spokes. Finished with a marine damar varnish.
