An early 20th century Perko port navigational light that we have re-purposed into a nautical table lamp. Features a darkened patina galvanized body with brass chimney caps and Christmas tree vents, and a wonderful old pewter-gray patina. The thick, ruby red glass Fresnel lens survives with just one tiny rim chip. The Perko brass label is located on the front of the lantern and states "PERKO TRADE MARK- MANUFACTURERS- PERKINS MARINE LAMP AND HARDWARE, CORP. BROOKLYN, NEW YORK, U.S.A.
The lamp lighting choices toggle between the interior light and the lamp light via the upper light switch. You can use either the upper room light, the interior lantern light or both as desired. The interior bulb is reached through the open bottom of the fixture. Measures 10 inches across the front, 6 1/2 inch sides and 23 1/2 inches to the top of the shade.
