Vintage, heavily weathered outdoor nautical wood trade sign with carved letters that state "SINGER ISLAND SAILBOAT RENTALS." Measures 11 1/2" X 109" X 1 1/2" thick. Singer Island is located on the Atlantic coast of Palm Beach County, Florida. Sorry, we do not have a provenance for this trade sign except it was previously displayed in a Florida home.
Named after Palm Beach developer Paris Singer, a son of Isaac Singer, the Singer Sewing Machine magnate, and considered one of the top five beaches in Palm Beach County.
