Nautical coffee table made during the 1980's using an authentic Liberty ship hatch cover for the top. Thick, three-board yellow pine with metal bands on each end of the hatch. The two half-cup holes with metal bar, a feature found on authentic hatch covers was designed so a crane could be attached to lift the hatch from it's hold. Traditional trestle table style base with center stretcher, ends with molded outer edges. Hard to find nautical-designed furniture- perfect for the man cave, family room, your beach cottage and coastal home! Measures 29 1/2 inches wide X 59 1/2 inches long and 16 13/4 inches tall.
