Authentic polished brass four-dog porthole that was re-purposed in the 1980's into a table with custom hardwood base. The porthole survives in like-new condition with a high luster polish preserved with a gloss coating. Etched into the edge of the thick glass "ARMOURED GLASS" and is also engraved into the brass next to it "FOR ARMOURED GLASS ONLY" The custom made wood base is of a maple color and designed so that the porthole can be lifted out and features four vase-and-ring turned legs with tapered feet and a shaped cross stretcher base. A few minor dents in the wood from 30 plus years of age. The table measures 24" in diameter with a 21 inch porthole, 15 1/2 inch glass and stands 21 1/2" tall to the top of the porthole frame and exclusive of the dogs. A beautiful nautical table that will dress up any nautical room and coastal home. Please use the contact information at the bottom of every page to discuss shipping options and costs.
