This wonderful old two purchase wood block with cast iron hook is the perfect maritime artifact for re-purposing into a nautical table lamp. This one was originally made decades ago on the eastern shore of Maryland. We’ve updated the lamp by replacing the old socket and lamp wire with new ones. The manufactueres metal tag is fastened to the left side of the block, but is not legible. This exceptional nautical lamp stands 22 1/2 inches tall to the top of the shade (as shown) and the oval oak base measures 9 1/2" X 12" and 1" thick and the edging is covered with ropework. The lamp is shown with a new burlap-covered shade (priced separately). A great lamp for your coastal office or home!
