Late 19th century long brass field glasses Made by Lemaire of Paris, France (engraved on both eyepieces) Also marked Be S.G.D.G.on the silvered adjusting ring. Binoculars with japanned black brass tubes with leather-wrapped main tubes. Measures 12 inches long fully open.
Condition: Small dents in eyepieces and a little wear of the japanning. Otherwise in excellent condition with sharp, adjusting view.
