An early 20th Century Perko Anchor Lantern, Nautical Table Lamp

This authentic, black-painted anchor lantern turned table lamp brings real nautical character to a side table or nightstand. The thick ribbed-glass 360-degree Fresnel lens glows beautifully all around, and a three-way switch lets you light the interior lantern, the upper room light, or both — mood lighting and reading light in one. A natural fit for a coastal living room, study, or bedroom. The lantern retains a wonderful old black-painted surface with hints of polished brass showing.  Rewired throughout with all-new electrical parts. The interior light bulb is reached through the open bottom. Measures 5 inches in diameter and stands 21 inches tall to the top of the lampshade (as shown). Weighs 3-3/4 pounds.

NOTE: The oval brass PERKO maker's tag was at some time removed and repositioned on the lantern chimney. The Fresnal lens is stamped PERKO on the side. Retains the original pair of hoisting rings at the lamp base.
