This exceptional yacht skylight binnacle was repurposed years ago into a very handsome nautical table lamp. It features a 1930s 6-inch Star Pathfinder gimbaled compass with a removable six-sided glass-paneled skylight cover. The compass and outer ring are marked "Star Pathfinder, Milton Mass, Star Boston, U.S.A., #29569," which dates the compass to the 1930's. We have redesigned the upper room light pedestal and replaced all of the lighting hardware with new, and it is now displayed on a round, molded wooden base. The compass survives in perfect, working condition. The upper room light, also illumuninates the housed compass. Add a dimmer switch for selected light intensity!
