An American made Triplex small boat port & starboard bow light. Embossed on a label mounted on the reverse side on the mounting bracket: “PATENTED APRIL 1ST 1913.”
This fine small craft lamp is designed with two traditional Fresnel lens, one in royal blue, the other in garnet red that survives free of cracks or chips.
The lantern is constructed of galvanized metal and retains an aged pewter patina surface. The smoke chimney features pine-tree style vents and horizontal reeding below a brass cap with metal bail handle. Missing burner. Height: 8 ¾ inches and 10 ¼ inches to top of bail handle. Width: 4 ¾ inches Depth: 7 ½ inches (including divider).
